The SparkList team consists of a small group of UC Berkeley students and alumni. Our team examines the existing social-networking industry to identify and initiate improvements on social challenges brought upon our society: online bullying, the devaluation of genuine connections, mental isolation, and the toxic nature of social media hierarchies. Our mission is to promote genuine connections by encouraging Sparklist users to connect with each other in-person, within positive, supportive, and respectful environments.
